Face Masks Available

Hi neighbors,
I have been sewing face masks with a FB group, distributing them to first responders and health care facilities locally. I think we have about saturated the market and I have a bunch left over. If anyone in the community is in need of a cloth mask please let me know. Most of them have ties, they all have a pipe cleaner to fit snuggly over the nose and they have a pocket if you would like to insert a filter.
Kind regards,
Sandy

View larger photo March 30, 2020 – COVID-19 Frequently Asked Questions and Resources Good Evening Fellow Neighbors,With each emergency that causes a change in rules, regulations, laws, etc. we know there are always many questions and hard to find answers. Your State partners have been working hard trying to anticipate your questions with some Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) so you have a place to go to, and more importantly, a place you can refer others to when they come to you for help and advice. That being said, we wanted to give you and your family links to these FAQs and resources for your use. We hope you find this helpful. Continue to keep each other safe by physically distancing yourselves, but stay connected with one another. Don’t forget to call up loved ones, especially our older loved ones, and share a laugh or two. We all could use a smile and a laugh at least once-a-day to get us through this trying time, right? United together, making small efforts to stay connected, continuing to practice physical distancing, sharing information from reputable and official sources – all of it is going to make us stronger and all of it is going to help us get through this, together. Please be safe, healthy, stay home, and keep washing your hands.Questions about the Governor’s latest directives in response to COVID19

Special Message to Our Elk Forest Community

As we respond to the evolving coronavirus situation, the EFCA Board is postponing indefinitely our Spring Cleanup scheduled for April 4. Our hearts go out to those people affected by the coronavirus pandemic and we appreciate all that everyone is doing to prevent the spread of the virus. It’s more important than ever that we coordinate efforts as a neighborhood to prevent the spread and help our most vulnerable neighbors; older people and those with pre-existing medical conditions. As you walk about Elk Forest, please practice safe behaviors in social situations (see cdc.gov). If able, please check in on your neighbors who may be experiencing special needs during this time of “social distancing”. Please let me know of any concerns or needs that you or others may have during this time. We can all work together to help each other. Stay safe! June Estock, President EFCA
